Rita Soto: The Art of unleashing “inanimate” creatures.
Rita Soto is in constant search for a language of its own through art jewelry. She creates by experimenting with natural fibers and horsehair while innovating traditional basketry techniques from her country: Chile.
The artist creates biomorphic objects and creatures that establish multiple dialogues between the organic and the poetic. In doing so, she plays with weaving identities, interweaving imaginary, transforming objects into pieces of art jewelry.
