Tamagit announces a new jewelry series collectively created by a diverse group of artists: #artcanTbreathe, jewelry makers united for a good cause. Like this, we can make injustice more visual and spread our statements through art.
Through #artcanTbreathe, we will be featuring jewels by artists who have generously created more accessible and affordable pieces for individuals and collectives that would like to raise awareness on profound political, social or environmental conflicts that MUST change. In a silent but powerful way, jewels become symbols and peaceful weapons. This is our answer to a sick society and to certain sick individuals out there.
All pieces are handmade and they can be personalized in a co-creation process between the wearer and the maker. And new jewels can be created, too. Tamagit will support you in the process! So feel free to contact us to purchase any of the jewels and/or commission a new, personalized piece. Materials, type of piece and statements can be adapted to your needs or the ones of your organization/community.
Do you join us on our journey to rise awareness through jewelry?

A piece of jewelry is in a sense an object that is not complete in itself. Jewelry is a ‘what is it?’ until you relate it to the body. The body is a component in design just as air and space are. Like line, form, and color, the body is a material to work with. Art Smith
